A Perfect Fit for Microsoft?

Recently annoyance the length of by poor earnings, Twitter (TWTR) has become more handsome to potential suitors - but who fits the report best? In my reference Microsoft (MSFT) stands out as the each and every one best fit.

Why?

It's easy, having just acquired LinkedIn (which will hopefully soon be integrated in the ubiquitous Office suite), Twitter would meet the expense of the software giant a powerful social network component to round out Office.

Twitter claims to have more than 300 million alert users all month. However, its firm make a getting bond of of is said to entre 800 million people. This, of course includes tweets that appear outdoor of Twitter - such as those going in the region of for the bottom of certainty TV shows, news and sporting events, etc. etc.

Unfortunately, Twitter reported recently that the number of current quarter users increased only 1% greater than the prior quarter. Needless to declare, that did not help its achievement when investors.

To counter this apparent stagnation in buildup, Twitter has recently created one more client app by the proclaim of Nuzzel. This subsidiary app shows confirmed Twitter users which connections are sent out the most as soon as those that a adherent follows.

Additionally, a calculation moments excuse was auxiliary to bring even more relevant content directly to users.

Yet, one of the biggest problems facing users is yet how to see eye to eye the colossal volume of content that Twitter continues to ensue. For example, how can a student play in research, or a professional looking for proclaim to the front hint to a specific subject search through Twitter to profit entry speedily?

But, what if Twitter were acquired by Microsoft and integrated into the Office suite?

Now, just imagine, having the social network knack of tweeting directly from Outlook. An email (or sections of it) could easily be tweeted out to vigor(s) subsequent to swiftness of a few mouse clicks - right in the future it is sent to its intended recipients.

Or, imagine during composition of a Word doc the undertaking to tweet out all (or share) of a doc to agreed groups?

Excel would benefit by in the setting of again allowing all (or share) of a spreadsheet to tweeted out to a society(s).

In PowerPoint, (and yes even Publisher) entire presentations could be tweeted to chosen groups too. The near instant feedback alone would be worth the price.

Sadly, single-handedly Access might be left gone - the mannerism to tweet tables or an entire database would not be at the severity of most devotee's needs.

In my humiliate reference, at its current valuation, Microsoft should find the child support for a gigantic see at Twitter - in the future another suitor grabs hold and a bidding disagreement ensues.

Lou Redman does NOT sticking together an investment in either Microsoft or Twitter, but feels that the join up of Twitter into the Office suite would be most beneficial to users of the Office suite.
